Workplace accidents

Accidents happen in many workplaces, but they are more likely to occur in manufacturing environments due to the equipment and machinery that is needed for production. Fingers and hair can get caught in machines, employees can fall when working at elevated levels, and slippage can occur in areas with wet or slick floors.

Robots prevent workplace accidents because they perform repetitive and exact movements that rarely deviate; thereby eliminating the employee mistakes that cause accidents to occur in manufacturing facilities. In the rare instances that robots malfunction, the worst that can happen is damage to machinery, and machine damage is always better than human damage.
